Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a minimum of a two year College Diploma in a Business
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail and be highly organized

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have including Marketing or Public Relations, or an equivalent qualification
  • The candidates should have working within a post-secondary institute, preferably within various Student Services roles, including Recruitment and Financial Aid
  • The candidates should have knowledge of academic delivery systems, including OCAS and OSAP processing procedures and deadlines
  • The candidates should have three (3) years of experience working in the recruitment of students
  • The candidates should have experience in advertising, marketing, photography, or public affairs, with special events management and promotion
  • The candidates should possess strong public speaking and presentation skills and possess a valid Class G Ontario Driver’s license
  • The candidates should have excellent computer skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • The candidates should have the ability to build relationships with a strong focus on customer service

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to support two Pembroke Campus Student Service areas, including Recruitment and Financial Aid
  • The candidates should be able to assist students and the general public by sharing information and helping with tasks such as applying for college or student loans
  • The candidates should be able to contribute to the recruitment and retention of students through the services provided within the Recruitment and Financial Aid areas
  • The candidates should be able to prioritize recruitment as the primary responsibility of the position
