Kerala South Indian Restaurant is a renowned dining establishment specializing in authentic South Indian cuisine. Salary: $18.20 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 9221-34 Avenue NW Edmonton, AB T6E 5T5
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided 

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty, while also being capable of preparing and serving specialty food at customers’ tables, following recipes and presentation standards
  • The candidates should be able to proficient in presenting bills to customers and accepting payment in various forms, including cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings, and they should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers, providing detailed information and recommendations
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, as well as greet patrons warmly, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages, providing excellent customer service
  • The candidates should be able to responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory of wines and wine glassware, ensuring availability and quality, while also serving food and beverages to customers promptly and courteously, adhering to service standards and guest preferences
  • The candidates should be able to take orders from customers and relay them accurately to kitchen and bar staff, ensuring efficient and accurate service, and they should be able to assist clients or guests with special needs, providing support and accommodation as required, while maintaining a high level of customer service
