Position: Shipping and receiving supervisor

Salary: $27.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Edmonton, AB
Work setting: Retail business, Wholesalers, and Supermarket/grocery store.
Supervision: 1 to 2 people
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should excel in a fast-paced environment and be able to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines, while also being capable of handling heavy loads with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and demonstrate proficiency in managing tasks requiring physical strength and precision
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate accuracy and possess efficient interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication abilities
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility, initiative, and reliability in their work
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to establish work schedules and procedures, coordinate activities with other work units or departments, and prepare and submit reports
- The candidates should be able to resolve work-related problems, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
- The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory
