Supervision: 3-4 people, Cook (general), food and beverage servers, and kitchen and food service helpers

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials: Safe Food Handling certificate

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in environments with odors as part of their responsibilities
  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking during their work

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish methods for meeting work schedules, supervising staff, and coordinating food preparation activities
  • The candidates should be able to train food service staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring quality control
  • The candidates should be able to estimate, order ingredients, and supplies, as well as hire and supervise staff for food service
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns while maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and submit reports, as well as supervise and check the assembly and delivery of food trays and trolleys
  • The candidates should be able to establish and oversee work schedules
