Salary: $16.55 hourly for 30 to 34 hours per week

Work setting: Private residence and Own home

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Reference required

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have the ability to work independently and handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be dependable, demonstrate flexibility, and show initiative
• The candidates should have good judgment, be organized, patience, honest, and be reliable

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• The candidates should be able to make beds and change sheets, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and launder clothing and household linens
• The candidates should be able to mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shop for food and household supplies
• The candidates should be able to empty trash cans and other waste containers
