Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Area of work experience: Marketing
Area of specialization: Advertising, Sales, Media relations, Market research, Interactive/new media, Customs services, Communications, E-commerce
Computer and technology knowledge: Microsoft Publisher, Data analysis software, Desktop publishing software, Database software, Electronic scheduler, MS Windows, Word processing software, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word
Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to reply to requests for information, write and edit advertising copy,compile and verify material for publication, perform routine clerical duties
  • The candidates should be able to advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies, market business services, initiate and maintain contact with the media, develop promotional materials
  • The candidates should be able to answer written and oral inquiries, develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies and programs, prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity and information programs, materials and sessions, conduct public opinion and attitude surveys
  • The candidates should be able to prepare or oversee preparation of reports, briefs, bibliographies, speeches, presentations, Website content and press releases, write and edit press releases, newsletter and communications materials, plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the design, development and maintenance of Internet and Intranet sites to manage an organization’s Internet presence
  • The candidates should be able to assist in product development and direct and evaluate the marketing strategies of establishments, establish distribution networks for products and services, initiate market research studies and analyze their findings, direct and evaluate establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs, diirect and evaluate establishments and departments that maintain media relations on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations
  • The candidates should be able to direct and evaluate establishments and departments that publicize activities and events on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations
  • The candidates should be able to assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material
