Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed secondary school education
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should maintain documentation and historical records accurately and use office technology, software, and applications effectively
  • The candidates should plan and organize activities and projects to meet section and organizational goals
  • The candidates should create, document, and manage information and records systematically

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a relevant discipline or possess a combination of education, training, and experience deemed equivalent

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to coordinate work requests, following procedures, and ensuring requests are complete, accurate, and in accordance with standards and coordinate locksmith emergency and service calls, as well as those for various revenue and security equipment
  • The candidates should be able to liaise with other colleagues, support staff, other departments, and external parties concerning routine matters under the direction of department staff
  • The candidates should be able to process and monitor material and equipment acquisitions, as well as capital project acquisitions and maintain the RSEM Equipment Maintenance and Reliability System, and provide assistance with system administration of department and section systems
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and assist with the preparation of correspondence and documentation on behalf of the department, section in accordance with department and section standards
  • The candidates should be able to operate a non-revenue TTC vehicle to conduct section business and prepare the payroll for employees in the area of responsibility and maintain supporting documentation
  • The candidates should be able to assist with and coordinate the daily administrative activities of the department and section
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate behaviors that support diversity, inclusion, and a respectful work and service environment that is free from discrimination and harassment and remove barriers and accommodate employees and customers (within their area of responsibility) in accordance with TTC’s commitments and obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC) and Related Orders, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and TTC’s policies
