Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have experience in the usage of SAP or a similar HRIS

- The candidates should exhibit strong computing skills, including proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for statistical analysis and presentations
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to contribute to the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), which is North America’s third-largest transit system and has been recognized as one of the top places to work in the GTA
- The candidates should be able to align with the TTC’s mission of providing “a reliable, efficient, and integrated bus, streetcar, and subway system that draws its high standards of customer care from our rich traditions of safety, service, and courtesy”

- The candidates should be able to conduct research to support the review and development of compensation policies
- The candidates should be able to perform salary administration functions and address compensation exceptions falling outside of policy
- The candidates should be able to provide expertise and advice with respect to organizational structure and design; review the requests for changes to organization structure and allocated headcount and complement
- The candidates should be able to work with clients on creating and updating job descriptions and evaluating jobs as required
- The candidates should be able to support assigned clients with the day-to-day compensation activities
- The candidates should be able to lead and participate in various projects related to compensation
- The candidates should be able to review data, including job evaluations, operating budgets, survey results, and provide consultative assistance to management or other staff regarding areas of study such as job design, restructuring, etc.
- The candidates should be able to organize and create materials or resources including job descriptions, evaluations, meeting minutes, and other communications
- The candidates should be able to review or collect data using a variety of research techniques (occupational analyses, surveys, structured interviews, focus groups, and questionnaires) regarding a topic area and analyze, providing recommendations and changes as required
- The candidates should be able to interpret and provide guidance and action regarding policy, compensation, or other procedures as relevant to the role
- The candidates should be able to work with clients to assess compensation issues and needs and work collaboratively to develop a strategy to address them
- The candidates should be able to provide guidance or information on a given topic, providing support as needed through training, information sessions, or other methods
- The candidates should be able to resolve differences among two or more parties through discussions, justifications, and other guidance as required
- The candidates should be able to provide documentation, statistics, or other materials containing information pertinent to the role and area of responsibility
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate behaviors that support diversity, inclusion, and a respectful work and service environment that is free from discrimination and harassment.
