Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language

Experience: Candidates should have five or more years of experience in similar positions
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be willing and able to travel and proven ability to plan and organize projects
- The candidates should be strategic and politically aware and manage multiple projects concurrently and handle stress
- The candidates should be available to work on a sometimes irregular schedule and/or long shifts
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess excellent knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada, its mandate, and its programming
- The candidates should demonstrate a high degree of creativity in working with content, developing traditional and electronic communications tools, as well as designing promotional events and activities
- The candidates should have proven experience in communications consulting, negotiation, and brand activation
- The candidates should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and budgeting and scheduling skills

- The candidates should have an excellent command of spoken and written French, advanced oral, written, and reading proficiency in English (CCC) and possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to recommend, conceptualize, plan, and operationalize the creation and production of brand activations, original event-based experiences, and strategic partnerships across Ontario or Ottawa-Gatineau, with the goal of generating audience engagement for the public broadcaster’s properties and products
- The candidates should be able to onboard, train, and coach the Ontario and Ottawa-Gatineau brand ambassador team to ensure high-quality representation of the brand
- The candidates should be able to lead, develop, and roll out Canada-wide events and initiatives that strengthen the connection with Canadians, collaborating with the Community Experiences and Partnerships teams at each regional station
- The candidates should be able to help develop experiential and relationship marketing strategies that enhance the brand’s reach and engagement with the public and play a strategic advisory role with program managers and partners to strengthen brand positioning
- The candidates should be able to supervise, roll out, and co-ordinate marketing communications plans to ensure optimal exposure for initiatives, drafting strategic and creative briefs in collaboration with Marketing and Communications teams
- The candidates should be able to assist in planning the event calendar, overseeing production timelines, co-ordinating logistics, doing technical and location scouting, and managing budgets and handle media and public relations for Ontario and Ottawa-Gatineau, representing the brand professionally
- The candidates should be able to develop and negotiate agreements with suppliers and participating contributors to ensure successful partnerships and act as liaison with all involved parties, ensuring smooth communication and coordination for various projects
