Salary: $17.50 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 596 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M4Y 1Z3, Canada
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Morning
Work setting: On-site customer service and café.
Supervision: 3-4 people, food service counter attendants, and food preparers

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be capable of working under pressure
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and be prepared for physically demanding tasks

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, demonstrate flexibility, and be a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules effectively and establish work schedules that optimize staffing levels and meet business demands
  • The candidates should be able to supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food efficiently, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure compliance and competence
  • The candidates should be able to estimate and order ingredients and supplies accurately to maintain inventory levels, hire food service staff following company protocols and legal requirements, and ensure food service and quality control are maintained at all times
  • The candidates should be able to maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage for operational analysis and planning, as well as supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure accuracy and presentation standards are met
