Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French and English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of University degree
Experience: Candidates should have 4 years of hands-on experience in IT administration and support in a medium to large heterogeneous environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a degree preferably in a computer-related field combined with relevant work experience. An equivalent combination of working experience and education
- The candidates should possess knowledge and experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms, IIS, MS SQL clusters, and SAN storage. Experience with ITIL framework and best practices for IT service management
- The candidates should demonstrate strong knowledge of Windows Server, networking, and database management systems
- The candidates should exhibit proficiency in scripting languages PowerShell, Python and SQL) for automation and system maintenance tasks
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and IT certifications
- The candidates should have experience with ServiceNow ticketing system and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) support
- The candidates should possess strong communication and customer service skills and be able to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with clients and staff from diverse backgrounds
- The candidates should ideally be bilingual (French and English) and proficient in another language
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide timely and effective support for application-related issues, ensuring resolution meets user and troubleshoot and resolve application errors, connectivity issues, and performance problems efficiently
- The candidates should be able to proactively monitor application performance and system health, identifying and addressing potential issues promptly and assist users with application usage, configurations, and address feature requests effectively
- The candidates should be able to implement and maintain monitoring tools and scripts to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution and conduct regular system checks, updates, and maintenance to optimize performance and security
- The candidates should be able to document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions thoroughly in the ticketing system and manage application incidents and service requests within established SLAs
- The candidates should be able to communicate effectively with users and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations and collaborate closely with other IT team members and stakeholders to resolve complex issues and enhance application functionality
- The candidates should be able to actively participate in team meetings, contribute to knowledge sharing, and propose process improvements and assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of new applications and system updates
- The candidates should be able to ensure all deployments follow best practices and organizational policies, documenting configuration changes and deployment procedures
- The candidates should be able to ensure applications and systems comply with security policies and regulatory requirements, following security best practices and performing regular patching
- The candidates should be able to participate in IT projects, providing application support and expertise throughout project planning, testing, and implementation phases
- The candidates should be able to facilitate the smooth transition of new applications or updates into the production environment
