Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French and English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of one year of Community College education, with priority given to applicants holding a Medical Transcription certificate
Experience: Candidates should have at least 2 years of secretarial and administrative support experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to coordinate and manage a variety of tasks to meet deadlines and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have previous experience working with individuals from various ethno-cultural groups, demonstrating sensitivity to issues affecting these populations
- The candidates should have previous clinical research knowledge and experience with qualitative research, including coding of data
- The candidates should have experience with NVivo and demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment
- The candidates should exhibit proficiency in written and oral communication and expertise in MS Office software packages, including Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- The candidates should demonstrate bilingualism (French and English) or proficiency in a second language
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to transcribe research assessments, including interviews, focus groups, and meetings
- The candidates should be able to maintain worksheets for tracking incoming and completed reports
- The candidates should be able to schedule reports to ensure transcription deadlines are met, print and save draft and final reports accurately and efficiently
- The candidates should be able to coordinate with research teams to align with timelines and deliverables
- The candidates should be able to conduct final reviews and edits of reports to ensure quality and accuracy
- The candidates should be able to support a diverse workplace environment that encourages teamwork and complies with all regulatory and legislative requirements
