Work setting: Employer’s home, Urban area, and Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking and scent-free
- The candidates should be capable of lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client-focused and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility and show initiative
- The candidates should exhibit good judgment and be organized
- The candidates should be reliable and team players
- The candidates should have strong time management skills and demonstrate patience

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to change diapers and follow parents’ lead with toilet training
- The candidates should be able to sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods, supervise and care for them, and take them to and from school and to appointments
- The candidates should be able to tend to emotional well-being of children and cook
