Transportation information: Public transportation is available and Willing to travel
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Child Abuse Registry check, Child welfare check, Criminal record check, Drug test, Medical exam, Reference required, and Basic security clearance
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, be experienced in weight handling, and be able to handle up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to work overtime as required, manage physically demanding tasks, and perform repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure and have attention to detail
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to change diapers, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- The candidates should be able to sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies, travel with the family on trips, and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- The candidates should be able to care for pets, keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
- The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, take them to and from school and appointments, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
