Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have 2 years of Community College education in the law enforcement field or be in the process of completing it
Experience: Candidates should have 1 year of healthcare experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a valid PSIS Security Guard License and 6 months to 1 year of security experience and be First Aid/CPR Certified
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide security services and assistance to CAMH patients, visitors, staff, and volunteers to promote a safe and secure environment
- The candidates should be able to assist with safety matters, report and respond to emergencies, and patrol hospital buildings and grounds
- The candidates should be able to complete various reports and ensure that all Security and Safety procedures are maintained
- The candidates should be able to protect life and property, conduct incident investigations, and liaise with emergency responders
- The candidates should be able to remove unauthorized persons and support a workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements
