Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture and Engineering
Experience: Candidates should have 12+ years experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of independently managing deadlines and supporting staff
  • The candidates should exhibit the ability to build teams, manage large budgets, work effectively across teams, effectively manage schedules, equipment coordination and delivery, and turnover processes

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess the ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including specialized security screenings such as the Microsoft Cloud Background Check, which is required upon hire, transfer and every two years thereafter
  • The candidates should hold degrees and professional licenses in Construction Management or Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • The candidates should have 10+ years of experience in the development of Data Center project construction with large-scale data centers or data center lease providers
  • The candidates should have 10+ years of project management experience
  • The candidates should demonstrate 10+ years of people management experience
  • The candidates should have experience managing multiple large multi-faceted projects
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to influence cross-discipline teams
  • The candidates should possess Construction Health & Safety Knowledge

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to oversee project delivery at the campus and manage project teams, including developing, managing, and reporting on safety, quality, scope, schedule, budget and provide leadership in Safety, Quality, and predictable delivery to meet business needs, date, and cost expectations
  • The candidates should be able to perform site walks every day on assigned projects, track project progress on schedule, quality, and safety, and hold contracted vendors accountable to their deliverables
  • The candidates should be able to lead collaboratively with all functions, partners, and stakeholders to support project delivery and schedule milestones and direct fiscal responsibility for the approved project budget
  • The candidates should be able to participate collaboratively with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partners in selecting, contracting, and integrating multiple vendors and internal partners
  • The candidates should be able to drive deployment of solutions that can be socialized globally across EPC projects and monitor General Contractor and vendor performance and integration with internal partners to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery
  • The candidates should be able to apply influence, strategies, and negotiation skills to identify options and recommend solutions to meet project delivery expectations and facilitate decision-making to drive solutions, schedules, and manage change
  • The candidates should be able to serve as the single point of contact for project development and delivery and regularly review cost and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics, invoices, process/policy communications to client partners
  • The candidates should be able to attend scheduled owner/architect/contractor (OAC) and other project meetings, and report and coordinate meetings and activities of vendors, cost managers, and integration of lessons learned
  • The candidates should be able to provide weekly project status reporting to DCD (Data Center Delivery) standards and oversight and performance management of vendors (contractors) and approve vendor scope of work, and design review of site and building plans and report project progress on scope, schedule and budget weekly
  • The candidates should be able to validate vendor pay-application and invoice review and approval and manage compliance with prior audit results and recommendation and prepare Request for Proposal (RFPs), PERs and other project approval tools and templates
