Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as site merchandising, buying, pricing, inventory management, operations, online marketing, and finance to drive the performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon
  • The candidates should be able to engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize the product line for key manufacturers on Amazon.ca
  • The candidates should be able to conceive, create, and analyze various marketing and site merchandising efforts, marketing campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO) efforts, social media, and other channels to grow the vendor’s traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue on Amazon.ca
  • The candidates should be able to autonomously negotiate promotional opportunities for vendors and create comprehensive marketing proposals
  • The candidates should be able to handle responsibilities for inventory management, forecast generation, new product launches, pricing, and conducting detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.ca
  • The candidates should be able to work autonomously in a role that offers a unique opportunity to work at the most innovative online retailer and develop strong functional skills in online merchandising/marketing, buying, planning and forecasting, pricing, and business analysis
  • The candidates should be able to pursue Vendor Manager roles in the General Management career path at Amazon, with opportunities for greater responsibility and advancement into various roles, including Merchandising, Vendor Management, and Inventory Management
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, proven multi-tasking ability, and quantitative analysis
