Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in retail, operations, product or program management, or business management or consulting with a focus on negotiations and delivering results
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have a proven ability to multi-task
- The candidates should be detail-oriented and thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have knowledge of Excel and the ability to extract data through various reporting tools to drive and influence business decisions and experience with financial analysis and P and L ownership
- The candidates should have experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
- The candidates should have experience managing large data sets and using them to drive performance and process improvements
- The candidates should have experience with the video games industry and customers and strong oral and written communication skills
- The candidates should have project and stakeholder management experience and quantitative analytics skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to lead key categories and brand relationships in Video Games for Amazon.ca and drive business growth
- The candidates should be able to conduct contract negotiations, manage selection and catalog, optimize inventory, generate forecasts, and oversee product launches and pricing
- The candidates should be able to conduct detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.ca and build strong vendor and brand relationships
- The candidates should be able to work cross-functionally with other product, marketing, and operations teams across Amazon to raise the bar on customer experience as the P and L owner
