Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a safety related field
Experience: Candidates should have 6 months experience performing in a safety-related role within Amazon

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910
  • The candidates should have experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity and experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace
  • The candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in an environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field
  • The candidates should have strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills
  • The candidates should have experience leading and managing a team, along with the ability to analyze accident data, assess new processes and machinery for potential safety concerns, and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses
  • The candidates should have experience in emergency response and currently hold First Aid and CPR certificates
  • The candidates should have experience in workers’ compensation case management

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to report to onsite management teams and corporate-based reporting systems
  • The candidates should be able to support management’s efforts to ensure compliance with all corporate program expectations and applicable federal and state laws
  • The candidates should be able to conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis) and new equipment introductions
  • The candidates should be able to be responsible for recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures to management, including ergonomics
