Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French and English Language

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide client-centered psychiatric and general nursing care to clients in different stages of their recovery journey
- The candidates should be able to respond to client care needs using a safe, respectful, and dignified approach, ensuring the safety and security of the client care environment
- The candidates should be able to practice in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario professional standards, the CAMH Practice Model of Care, CAMH policies and procedures, and other relevant legislation and regulations
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with the care team to perform ongoing clinical assessments, utilize evidence-based interventions, and develop, implement, and evaluate the inter-professional plan of client care to address multiple health care priorities
- The candidates should be able to utilize critical thinking, a problem-solving process, and customer service in their approach to care and service delivery
- The candidates should be able to work with patients from diverse backgrounds, contribute to program development, and provide educational support and supervision to students
- The candidates should be able to make behavioral observations, perform assessments (including mental status and physical exams), monitor and evaluate patients’ response to pharmaceutical and other care interventions, document clearly, and communicate consistently and timely with other team members
- The candidates should be able to support and contribute to a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, promotes learning, and complies with all applicable regulatory requirements
