Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a technical certificate with a strong academic background computer science and engineering
Experience: Candidates should have 5 and 7 years of relevant technical experience, ideally within Capital Markets

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience with development leveraging JavaEE frameworks and experience with workflow automation tools such as Alteryx and UIPath
  • The candidates should have experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining RESTful services that integrate with multiple systems
  • The candidates should have experience with UI design and development, particularly using tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
  • The candidates should have experience using GitHub and Bitbucket for source control, branching strategies, and code reviews and proficiency in relational DBMS, particularly with SQL Server
  • The candidates should have experience with Agile delivery methodology, particularly Scrum or a similar approach, including product backlog definition, user story estimation and prioritization methodologies, task breakdown, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives, and related tools such as Confluence and JIRA and proven success in problem-solving and producing strategies and plans for operational improvement
  • The candidates should have a passion for simplifying and automating work, making things better, being efficient, and helping others
  • The candidates should be good communicators with strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to lead the design and implementation of new technical solutions by understanding problem statements, technical requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
  • The candidates should be able to develop functional and user-friendly interface designs that meet business requirements while ensuring alignment with architecture, development, and security standards
  • The candidates should be able to work with stakeholders to complete development activities required to meet technical deliverables on time and review technical deliverables throughout the solution delivery to ensure quality adherence and identify any gaps or necessary redesigns
  • The candidates should be able to manage defect resolution by collaborating with stakeholders to understand issues and proactively prevent defects and maintain and enhance existing solutions to ensure high performance, scalability, and security
  • The candidates should be able to ensure technical documentation is up-to-date with the latest information, procedures, and changes to maintain accurate records and continuously identify and evaluate areas for improvement or automation within the engineering practice to enhance performance and security
  • The candidates should be able to gain knowledge in relevant technical areas, stay updated on technology trends, and develop expertise in services, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools, techniques, and business domains
