Requirements:

Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 1.5 to 3 years of experience in a financial advisory role, managing and growing their own portfolio of clients

The Canadian Securities Course (CSC) should be written within the past 3 years, with the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH), Wealth Management Essentials Course (WME), and Personal Financial Planner (PFP) completed within 24 months of hire
  • The candidates should be certified professionals in Quebec, with current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing. They should have successfully completed the Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF licensing and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC). Completion of CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal and Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790)
