Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Post-secondary
Experience: Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of merchandising experience in retail, space planning, marketing, and advertising field

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable performing in a dynamic work environment to deliver quality work on time
• The candidates should be adept at effectively managing time and multiple workstreams simultaneously with strong attention to detail
• The candidates should have the ability to derive insights from raw data and analytics

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have (diploma or degree) education in a similar or related field and Project management experience
• The candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of in-store visual merchandising experience in a leadership role
• The candidates should have an understanding of Canadian Tire’s merchandising practices and principles
• The candidates should possess exemplary communication and presentation skills and knowledge of space management software such as Spaceman or JDA or Blue Yonder Space Planning
• The candidates should demonstrate strong creative problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently and experience working with 3D software
• The candidates should be proficient with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
• The candidates should be proficient with MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to manage production, quality, and ensure on-time delivery of all guides
• The candidates should be able to oversee intake and capacity planning processes and compile updates for Seasonal Planning (S1-7) and communicate visual merchandising standards
• The candidates should be able to develop internal reporting and analytics to optimize support streams and enhance content relevancy, including metrics such as capacity planning, click rates, page views, and viewer retention
• The candidates should be able to provide training and support to Visual Merchandising Specialists and Space Planning Specialists
• The candidates should be able to translate business strategies into practical merchandising solutions that engage customers
• The candidates should be able to motivate store-level execution to enhance customer engagement and drive sales
• The candidates should be able to test physical merchandising solutions to facilitate effective in-store implementation
• The candidates should be able to articulate strategic priorities and physical merchandising solutions through digital store-support guides using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• The candidates should be able to lead cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, from intake and ideation to in-store execution
• The candidates should be able to facilitate in-store presentation walk-throughs with key stakeholders from merchandising and store operations
